 What's up with me

Oh where oh where has my motivation gone? Oh where oh where could it be? I have a test tomorrow and I just don’t want to study. It is in Econ I have about 2 hours between work and the class and I have taken the practice test to know what I need to work on. I have been going over the information but none of it is staying in my little head. I am hoping that I can get the last bits to stick tomorrow before the test.

This last week I went out with the girls on Tuesday. That was fun I need to get together with them more. Then after my Wednesday class I went up to see my sister Amy and her kids. I had a lot of fun with the little kids. Katelynn and Allison both spent the night with friends and I didn’t get to see much of them. But on Thursday Amy, Zane, Reagan, McKenna, the two daycare kids and I went to the Maple Grove Maze. It is a big Play land like what you will see in McDonalds but about 3 times bigger. We where there for about an hour. I got to chase the two older kids around the maze. Yes us adults could go on the maze. I went to the top it was about 3 stories high. As most of you know I am afraid of heights so that in of its self is amazing. And there was a corkscrew slide that you go down from there. After that we went out to eat and then we went to SR Harris. SR Harris is a fabric warehouse we got fabric to make the little girls some cloaks and got Zane material to make him a costume for Halloween. When we got home we got the material washed and dried then got it all cut out. I had to bring it home to sewing them. I came home Friday morning (Mikes dad was going to be up this weekend and I didn’t want to take way from his fun with the kids) and went to see the Harry Potter #6 in the cheep theater. It was ok not the best made Harry Potter. I think that it was my least favorite of all that are out right now. I am glad that I went to it not and not at full price.

Well I am about ready to re-name Gordon to Houdini. Sunday he got out of the fence two times. I walked around the fence to see where he is getting out. I could not see anywhere that was open or anywhere that shows he has been crawling under the fence. I walked around it two times. Then today when I got home from work he was out again.
I walked around the fence and pegged down anywhere that looked like he might even think about getting out of the fence. Breanna, Penny and I went for a walk when we got back Jamie told me that Gordon got out again. I am glad that it is only Gordon with the others boys still in the fence he will not go very far from our property. Now watch tomorrow he will be down at the Ford dealership looking at cars.

 fiber fair & H1N1

Last week end Ruth and I set up a booth at the North Country Fiber Festival. We had some of our bags, fiber, cards, and stitch markers. I made enough to cover cost and then some and we had a blast. Ruth and I are going to do it again next year. We are going to go to the fiber festivals in the twin cities (that is mothers day weekend) and the one in Iowa (this is in June). To see if we want to add those events also that would be in 2011.

Classes are going very well. I still need to study a lot but it is worth it. I had my first test in Econ and got a B. I have another test this week so I need to study for that. Accounting my first test is Oct 9th and I am starting to study for that test. I think that Accounting is harder that the Econ but it is building off of Accounting 210 and I took that 10+ years ago.

I think that the H1N1 virus is running around to all the recycling boxes and they are throwing up all over my desk! This started when Lena left so she doesn’t have to worry about her recycling box. Lucky her.

I went home sick on Friday. It hit me around 1:30 and I left at 2pm I had a hard time staying awake on the drive home. When I got home I just went to sleep and slept till 10pm (Jamie woke me up to eat and drink) then I went back to bed around midnight and slept till around 9 am. I felt much better! I think that I was just tired from this last weekend and needed sleep.

Why oh why can my life not go right for a little while.

We where told on Friday that Lenna resigned and she would come in today to get her things and get Jessie and I up to date on things that we have not done. Well she came in today and did just that and was gone by 11am and will not be returning. Jessie and I are now at 40 hours till at least after the January shows. But it feels like we have been thrown to the wolfs. Lenna would not say why she was leaving but from some of the comments that she made it was not by her choice.

School is a lot of work but I know it will be worth it. I just am trying to get into the swing of studying. Accounting 211 is building straight from Accounting 210 and I took 210 at least 10 years ago so I am not quite understanding why I am doing some of the things but I know how to do them. IT has been taking a lot of time trying to get caught up I don’t feel like I am there yet. My first test is tomorrow in Econ so thing about me tomorrow night. I am hoping that I will be able to keep up with everything now that I am up to 40 hours. It just means I will have to work a little harder.

I am in need of a girl’s night out. I know that Amy n wants one on the 22nd and I will be there. Just tell me where.

I wish things would be better

When Jamie and I where going to help Ruth move the last of her things for the storage unit to the new house my car just stopped working. (This was July 25) We where in Beresford (about 30 miles south of Sioux Falls) and took it to a garage there in town. They said that they fuel pump was out but that there where really bussing and would not be able to get to it until next week (this was July 28trh) so Jamie and I talked about it and said that would be fine. I called back on Tuesday Aug 4 find out where my car would be done I was told maybe that day maybe latter I asked if it would be done on wed. I was then told “ we have 1000 thing that have get done and we will call you when we get started on your car” I was all out of fight from work so I didn’t say anything. I didn’t here anything on Wed so I had Jamie call up on Thursday He was told that they are trying to get to my car but the trucks from the road construction get first priority (the interstate is being replaced in that area right now) and the person that is to work on my car was to be off on Friday so it would be next week before they could get to my car. I called around on Friday to see how much it would be to tow my car to Sioux falls and just for towing it would be $200 the part for my car is $329 plus labor. I just cannot afford to do that. We would pull my car to Sioux Falls but if the car is not on then the breaks will not work. I also found out that it would only take about ½ to 3/4 of a day to get the fuel pump replaced. We are now going on my car being there for a third week.

Work is not going very well there is a lot of stress because the sales manager thinks that the credit department is loosing sales because of us not giving out terms. And the upper management is siding with her. Every time it has to go up they will give them terms. It is so that I am not sure how I should set my credit lines. I took in a review for Lenna to look at that has been 120 days past due wondering if they should have terms or not. This should have been a defiant no but I was no longer sure. I am almost afraid of what direction that the company is going. Not so much financial but morally in getting the sales. I am just getting very disheartened by what is going on at work.

I was to go to Omaha to the zoo the Friday after my car broke then I was hoping to go yesterday. I am needing to get away for a while. I really needed my car. I hate being dependent on Jamie to take me where I want to go. He will not let me drive his trucks so he has to take me everywhere.

 I WANT THIS CAT!!!!

I saw this cat in a store. It was half wild mother. It had the ringlets like a poodle. I kept thinking how could I bring this cat home. Half wild it would run away form our property. I thought that I might not be allergic to this cat because it had the ringlets maybe I could keep it inside. When I picked it up it did not scratch me but it was not comfortable with me holding it. There where two of the ringlets cats the other one was all black but I know this one was for me. It had a ring around its neck that was green ringlets and then it was lime green and purple patches of ringlets. This was there natural color not dyed. Just as I was trying to make up my mind the alarm went off and I had to wake up.

Jamie said that he agrees with mom that I am “to weird for words”. I think I might be allergic to that cat to because my eye was mattered shut when I woke up.
